Now I know what you’re saying that’s not a fun outdoor activity, that’s just exercise disguised as a fun outdoor activity. Well, yes and no. First, we’ll address the fact that yes, it is exercise. But that doesn’t have to be such a bad thing! Exercise is so good for you. Not only for your heart and your metabolism and your muscles and probs your brain and a ton of other stuff (I don’t know, Jim, I’m a blogger, dammit, not a doctor), but also for that summer bod we all want. You gotsta have that cardio. And for those of you thinking you’ll need emergency roadside assistance to pick you up after you’ve passed out trying to run, don’t worry, ’cause one of the great things about jogging is that you can totally dictate your own pace!
